Volunteer Spotlight
Honoring Nora Morris!
At MountainStar Family Relief Nursery, we celebrate the memory of Nora Morris, a dedicated volunteer whose presence profoundly touched the lives of our children, families, and staff. Over three years of service, Nora exemplified commitment, compassion, and a joyful spirit that left an indelible mark on our community.
From the very beginning, Nora embraced her volunteer role wholeheartedly. She wasn't afraid to get on the floor, get messy, or let her playful side shine through. As KayCee beautifully shared, "She showed up for the kids—always ready to laugh, get silly, and bring joy into the classroom." Children adored "Ms. Nora," a safe and reliable friend whose arrival always sparked excitement.
Kandy reminisced about Nora's vibrant energy, noting, "She loved playing with the kiddos and laughed and giggled with them, her joy shining through every moment." Rachael added that Nora’s volunteer days felt like "a breath of fresh air," as Nora’s smile and positive attitude lifted the spirits of everyone around her.
Izzy reflected on Nora’s unique gift of connection, saying, "She was so delicate and kind when playing with children and always kept her relationships with students close. She’d greet past students warmly whenever she saw them."
Nora's legacy is a testament to the impact one person can have through consistent love and generosity. While her absence is deeply felt, her contributions to MountainStar and our Prineville community will be cherished forever.
Rest in peace, Nora. You are and were, a rare gift to us all. 🌟
